NOLA SHRM is dedicated to providing support and resources for a successful entry into the HR professional. We are here to help you develop career skills and enhance your understanding of Human Resources. 

Students and Emerging Professionals have networking opportunities by being a member of NOLA SHRM. There are numerous events that also provide professional development opportunities.

NOLA SHRM has relationships with local colleges and universities so that students can participate in our internship program. Emerging Professionals may also participate in the internship program.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Students must have completed 75% of program courses (BS or associate degree programs). Students may currently be enrolled in the required HR course.
  • Emerging professionals have graduated from a bachelor’s or associate degree program up to 3 years from graduation date.
  • Overall GPA, 2.7+.  Business and Management courses GPA 3.0+.
  • Internship applicants are required to be pursuing a career in Human Resources.
