**SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP holders may earn recertification credit for volunteer activities**

The LAUNCH Program at the New Orleans Career Center is a year-long career preparation program for students after their senior year of high school. LAUNCH students work toward industry-recognized certifications in Healthcare, Hospitality/Culinary Arts, and Skilled Trades while participating in training and career coaching to help them improve soft skills, professionalism, and financial and digital proficiency. 

Mock Interview Day is an invaluable opportunity for students to practice their interview skills with industry professionals. 

Volunteers will receive a caseload of students to interview along with a sample job in the student’s career pathway, a list of interview questions, and a rubric to provide feedback to the students.
