Cheryl M. House serves as the Director of Compliance for Marsh & McLennan Agency’s Southwest region and works out of the Austin office. In her role, Cheryl holds a broad level of responsibility and oversight. She provides consultative services and technical assistance for colleagues and clients while ensuring quality assurance standards are met by identifying, creating and monitoring policies, procedures and processes. Cheryl brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career in 1985 with Allstate Insurance. During her tenure she was promoted from Client Support to Medical Claims Analyst, then Disability Claims Manager. In 1997, Cheryl joined an independent Employee Benefits Consulting Firm as an Account Manager. Her claims and contracts analytics experience put her on a trajectory to oversee compliance-related issues firm-wide. In 2010 she transitioned her focus to compliance and has been providing guidance to clients and colleagues as compliance director for over ten years.
